Amitkumar Patel

Amit is the founder of Peachy Digital, an insurtech platform enabling insurers and MGAs to design, distribute and manage digital health insurance products. Peachy Digital has secured enterprise partnerships with Sompo International, Cigna International, The Exeter and Sovereign Health Care, and launched products through its own health insurance MGA, Peachy, the first healthcare MGA to go through the FCA Regulatory Sandbox.

He currently chairs the AI & Emerging Technology Network at the International Federation of Health Plans, convening 80+ global health insurers on AI governance, data security and responsible technology adoption across international markets.

Until 2019, Amit held several senior roles at Bupa, including Strategy & M&A Director for Bupa UK across its £3B portfolio of health insurance and provision businesses and Director of New Ventures, where he architected, launched and scaled new digital ventures.

Prior to Bupa, he worked as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and private equity investors on growth strategy and M&A across financial services, life sciences and healthcare.

Amit trained as an NHS surgeon before moving into strategy, M&A and business building.
